In light of his dwindling caucus numbs, Jeb Bush has taken one last desperate measure to try and save his campaign.

In a post New Hampshire rally, the GOP candidate stepped onto the stage wearing a mask in the shape of his brother, George W. Bush.

“It was a shock,” rally attendee Dave Harris reported. “The announcer said we’d be seeing Jeb, but then George comes out and starts campaigning instead.”

Calling the camouflage a “surprising success,” Bush aides have announced a new tactic of “tricking the voters into thinking they’re voting for George again.” Current plans involve accent training, and legally changing Jeb’s name to George.

“It was a shock,” rally attendee Dave Harris reported. “The announcer said we’d be seeing Jeb, but then George comes out and starts campaigning instead.”

“It’s incredible how much his numbers have shot up,” was the official response from Jeb’s campaign office. “He starts disguising himself as his brother, and suddenly hundreds of George Bush backers have flocked to him. It’s a game changer, really.”

“I didn’t realize he could run again, but he’s got my vote,” was the response from an anonymous voter.

Other attendees, while agreeing that they felt confident in another Bush term, admitted that they were unable to understand anything the candidate mumbled behind his mask.

Even so, Jackie Sues reported that she walked away “feeling ready for a revolution.”

The Bush family has been less than pleased. “I get that mimicry is the truest form of flattery, but this is ridiculous,” George W. Bush said in an interview. His entire family has added that, should Jeb come home for the holidays, the mask will have to come off at the door.

Ben Carson’s attempts to disguise himself as Barack Obama have met with less success.
