One person is reported dead and multiple injured…after a shooting and stabbing melee that took place this afternoon at the Colorado Motorcycle Expo in the National Western Complex located in Denver.

The shooting began around 12:45 p.m. MST near East 46th Avenue and Humboldt Street. Shortly after, the Denver police posted a tweet that

they were responding to “multiple shootings” and a stabbing at the Arena.

The coliseum was hosting the 38th Annual Colorado Motorcycle Expo. One witness, according to the Denver Post, said that “the feud was

started by rival biker gangs.” This has not been verified.

Denver Health tweeted at that they were responding to the incident at the Denver Coliseum and that nine people were being transferred to area hospitals.

Officials are still unsure on how many were injured in the incident. Denver Health Emergency Department was put on lock down and the Denver police remain in the area “to secure the Emergency Department.”

As of now, no suspects are in custody.
